I come here at least once a year in the Fall when the apples, fresh off the tree, come in. They always have great prices on their apples and sweet potatoes (as of 9/30/17, $0.79/lb for sweet potatoes and $0.89/lb for apples.)
I love everything about G&L Garden Center. In addition to great plants, flowers and vegetables they carry a tremendous selection of yard and garden ornamentation: statuary, urns, benches, plinths, fencing, arbors... in iron, concrete, cast aluminum... the selection is truly exceptional. I have friends and family that drive from Cookeville, Nashville, Columbia, and Red Boiling Springs to shop there. It's a local family owned business - they're friendly and intelligent, with an owner who's a degreed horticulturist. You have to go see for yourself.
The people are great and the flora is very high quality! Pricing is reasonable & selection is extensive! They also have neat gifts! I really like visiting them!
