I haven't been here yet but I am about to! I'm bringing a bunch of my friends from Ohio here for the eclipse. Going to try to scope it out before then if I have time but I may not have time. Anyway I wanted to chime in and say US nuclear power plants are really very safely constructed, especially compared to the competing (at the time) Soviet ones, so if this plant had been completed and used it probably would have been just fine. We had one on Lake Erie in Ohio where I'm from and it was never a problem even though they did a poor job maintaining it. It never leaked radiation or anything. Hopefully one day they will try again and build a newer one, which are even safer! Clean power. Power to the people!

Hartsville Nuclear Power Plant. This was built but never turned on. Because locals didn't want nuclear plant near them. Waste of money
