There are many things to do. There's a play ground for the kids maintained by the local Rotary club. There's a walking track. Baseball fields, basketball courts. A pool that's open during summer. They host many public events throughout the year for the family.
It's what gives life to the community. Everybody spends time during the hot weather playing or practicing sports. It has a trail to walk, basketball court, etc. It's what keeps this community together.
It would have been better if it wasn't so hot but other than that it was really fun place to be
I go to this park a lot actually. I enjoy taking my son here and he enjoys it as well. Always a great place to get out and go to. Not to mention when the community gets involved we always have a great time when things are planned there. Its a great place to come together at.
This park actually is really really great. I'm not only doesn't seem to pack a lot of athletic facilities there for the locals to use in addition to schools but it also has some really awesome walking paths that I try to walk on at least one or two times a week. Overall it's a pretty great experience to go for a walk out here. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars it's because the children's playground which my daughter also happens to love immensely, has a couple of really bad pieces of equipment or playsets that seem to be completely worn out and in total disrepair. I haven't seen the sandbox fixed or cleaned up or weeds ripped out of it in quite some time and it appears that at some point probably some older kids broke the Seesaw that was there. Nothing has been done to solve the issue as of the last time I went last week. Other than that this place is absolutely one of the most frequented places I go to in Hartsville.
